How to Bake Our Take & Bake Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls
Before you bake — read this first:
Your oven is never fully pre-heated when it beeps. Let it continue pre-heating for an additional 20 minutes after it signals it’s ready. We know it’s hard to wait — but this one step makes all the difference in how your order turns out.
Bakery-Fresh Cinnamon Rolls, Baked at Home
Heads up — These Instructions Are for Take & Bake Items Only
These baking instructions apply to our raw, frozen take-and-bake cinnamon rolls — items you take home to bake yourself. If you purchased already-baked cinnamon rolls from our shop (we often have these in stock!), you do not need to bake them — just warm and enjoy. Not sure which you have? Give us a call at (270) 551-4440.
Individual Cinnamon Rolls
- Defrost the roll and frosting in the refrigerator overnight.
- When ready to bake, take the roll and frosting out of the refrigerator and place on your countertop for 45 minutes to an hour while your oven pre-heats.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Pro Tip Your oven is never fully pre-heated when it beeps! Let it pre-heat another 20 minutes after it says it's ready.
- Remove the lid from the baking mold — the base is oven safe so no need to remove that. Place the cinnamon roll on top of a cookie sheet.
- Bake the roll for 20–24 minutes, until slightly browned. To test, gently press your finger down on the top of the roll. If it bounces back, you're good to go. If it leaves an indention or slowly rises back up, bake another couple of minutes.
- Remove the roll from the oven and immediately scoop the frosting on top of the roll. Let it rest for a couple of minutes before spreading.
- Enjoy!
Cinnamon Roll 4-Pack
- Defrost rolls and icing in the refrigerator overnight.
- Pre-heat your oven to 350°F. Let rolls and icing container sit on the counter for at least 30 minutes while your oven pre-heats.

- Remove the plastic lid and bake rolls in the foil container for 28–30 minutes, until the tops are slightly browned and rolls bounce back when pressed.
- Immediately after removing from the oven, add a spoonful of icing to the top of each roll and let melt before spreading.
- Enjoy!

Pro Tips for Perfect Cinnamon Rolls
Don’t skip the defrost. Always defrost in the refrigerator overnight — never on the counter or in the microwave. A slow thaw protects the texture.
The bounce-back test is everything. Gently press the top of a roll. If it bounces back, it’s done. If it leaves a dent or rises slowly, give it another 2–3 minutes.
Frost while warm, but don’t rush spreading. Scoop icing on right out of the oven so it melts beautifully — but let it rest for a couple of minutes before spreading so it doesn’t run off completely.
Want extra-soft rolls? Tent loosely with foil for the last 5 minutes of baking to keep the tops from over-browning while the centers finish cooking.
Make-ahead trick. Defrost the night before and keep covered in the fridge until you’re ready to bake — perfect for holidays, slow weekends, or special breakfasts when you don’t want to fuss.
Storage & Reheating
How to Store & Reheat
Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container. To reheat, microwave in 30-second intervals until heated through — be careful not to overcook, as gluten-free baked goods can dry out quickly. The frosting will melt slightly, which most people consider a feature.
